How it works
Find and compare fishing charters across the US, then book with the captain or a trusted booking site. Free for anglers, free for captains.

Filter by trip type, species, trip length and group size. Check prices, what’s included, reviews and exactly where you’ll depart.
Book with the captain
“Check prices & book” opens the captain’s website or booking page, where you pick a date and book directly.
Save for later
Tap the heart on any charter to keep a shortlist — no account needed.
Local guides
Our fishing guides cover seasons, species and what to bring.
Real reviews
Written by anglers who fished with the charter — see how reviews work below.
Who you book and pay with
We’re a search and comparison site — we don’t take bookings or payments ourselves.
- FishTripFinderYou find and compare charters
- Booking site or captainYou choose a date and pay
- On the waterThe captain runs your trip
No extra fees
You pay the price set by the captain or booking site. We never add anything on top.
Book direct
Payments, confirmations, changes and cancellations are handled by the captain or their booking site, under their terms.
Reviews you can trust
Every FishTripFinder review is written by an angler with an account, about a trip they took.
- Real anglers only. You need an account to post, and one review per charter.
- Invites are labelled. Reviews from a captain’s review link say “Invited by the captain”.
- Captains can reply publicly — but can’t edit or remove reviews.
- We don’t delete bad reviews. We only remove spam, abuse or personal information.
- Kept separate. Ratings from booking sites are shown on their own, never mixed into ours.

Questions, answered
Anglers
Is FishTripFinder free?
Yes. Searching, comparing and saving charters is free. You pay the trip price set by the captain or the booking site — nothing on top.
Do I book on FishTripFinder?
No. “Check prices & book” takes you to the captain’s own booking page — for example FishingBooker, GetMyBoat or the captain’s website. Payment, confirmation, changes and cancellations are all handled there.
Do you add fees or mark up prices?
Never. You pay the price set by the captain or booking site — we don’t add anything on top.
What if the weather is bad or I need to cancel?
The cancellation terms of the booking site or captain apply, and they’re shown before you pay. Most captains reschedule or refund when they cancel for unsafe conditions.
Why do some listings have no prices or photos?
Some listings come from public business information and haven’t been claimed by the captain yet. You can still see where they are and visit their website; once the captain claims the listing they can add trips, prices and photos.
Captains
What does it cost to list my charter?
Nothing. Listing is free and we don’t take a commission on your bookings.
I already use FishingBooker, GetMyBoat or my own booking system.
Perfect — keep using them. Add every place guests can book you and choose which one powers the main “Check prices & book” button. We send anglers there.
My business is already on FishTripFinder. How do I take it over?
Use the link in the email we sent you, or start from the claim page and search for your business. Once we’ve verified you run the charter, you can edit everything.
How do I get reviews?
From your account, copy your review link and send it to guests after a trip. Reviews from it are labelled “Invited by the captain”, and you can reply publicly to any review.
Can I see if it’s working?
Your dashboard shows how many anglers clicked through to each of your booking pages, plus your reviews and rating.
